Marinade for at least 30 minutes .Thread tuna onto skewers (if using wooden skewers make sure to soak in water for 30 minutes before use) Grill over medium high heat for 3 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached . Remove from skewers and allow to rest for 2 minutes ……In a large salad bowl combine skewered tuna ,green onion ,parsley and black olives . Serve chilled or at room temperature . 3. Grilled Tuna with Olive Tapenade Sauce Ingredients: -6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided -2 cloves garlic, minced -2 cups kalamata olives, pitted and chopped -3 tablespoons capers, drained and rinsed -3 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes -salt and black pepper to taste – 2 (6 ounce) tuna steaks Directions: In a small bowl whisk together 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil ,garlic ,kalamata olives ,capers ,parsley leaves and red pepper flakes until combined . Season mixture with salt and black pepper to taste . Rinse tuna steaks with cold water then season both sides with salt and black pepper . Heat remaining 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat . Add seasoned tuna steaks to pan and cook for 3 minutes per side or until desired doneness is reached …..Serve grilled tuna steaks with olive tapenade sauce 4. Seared Ahi Tuna With Wasabi Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

For the wasabi cream sauce:

  • 1 c heavy cream or milk -(optional) 1T cornstarch mixed with some of the liquid to thicken (I didn't need it) -(optional) 1T unsalted butter -- 1 tsp powdered wasabi OR more to taste (I used 2 tsp because we like things pretty spicy around here ;) ) ---- Salt & Pepper to taste

Another ingredients: Ahi Tuna Steaks (or other fish will work too--I've made this recipe with swordfish before also) ---- Salt & Pepper seasoning as needed Instructions: For the wasabi cream sauce: Combine all ingredients EXCEPT for the butter in a small pot over medium heat stirring frequently until it comes to a simmer. Turn down the heat slightly so it doesn't boil over then let it continue simmering gently for about 10 minutes until thickened-----> If you're using cornstarch mix it in now& add butter stir until smooth & then take off heat If you're not using cornstarch just take off heat now* Salt & Pepper to taste Set aside while you cook your fish----> I like my fish pretty rare in the middle so if you do too cook it for only about 2 minutes per side on high heat If using an oven--> after cooking seared fish put pan in oven on broil on HIGH for about 2minutes--watch closely so doesn't burn Once your fish is cooked throughEither way you choose top each piece of seared fish with generous amounts of wasabi cream sauce & serve! 5.Taco Stuffed Tuna Collard Greens WrapsIngredients : For The Wraps · 6 collard green leaves · 6 oz canned chunk light tuna · ¼ cup canned diced tomatoes ·
